Job Description:
Medi Rents is seeking candidates for the role of Nutrition Sales Specialist to join our expanding Nutrition Sales team.  Ideal candidates are motivated professionals in the DC/VA/MD area. The position allows the Specialist to combine clinical background with sales & marketing in the healthcare field. This unique role is a great fit for someone with an outgoing personality & drive for success. The candidate should be flexible & have the ability to adapt with the constant dynamic changes in the health care and home care business.

Job Requirements:
Applicant can be, but is not limited to: 

-Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (preferred)
-Registered Nurse
-Other allied health care professional
-OR- Experienced, top performing healthcare industry sales professional 

Sales experience preferred, but not required for clinically experienced applicants.

Applicant qualities: Self Motivated, Personable, Professional, Strong team player, Customer Relationship Management, Highly organized, Strong presentation skills

Applicant must possess a valid driver license issued by the state in which they reside.

Responsibilities of Nutrition Sales Specialist include (but not limited to):
-Business to business sales in an assigned territory of prescribed medical nutrition products
-Successfully manage territory by growing and maintaining strong customer relationships
-Train patients and caregivers on nutrition and/or other medical equipment in the hospital setting.
-Be an valuable resource in discharge planning with case managers, physicians, nurses, social workers, and other health care workers.
-Timely follow up with patient and prescriber to ensure delivery set up and documentation are completed on time. 
-Work efficiently with operations & other team members to create & maintain mutually successful interpersonal and internal relationships
-Maintain professional & technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
-Represents Medi Rents at professional meetings and conferences
-Develops nutrition education information; developing and conducting in-service training programs. 
-Complies with federal, state, and local legal and certification requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
-Contributes to team effort by focusing on individual but also team goals.

Pay Structure: Base Salary + Commission
