Position: Assistant Manager of Revenue Cycle

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager of Revenue Cycle to join our team. This full-time, on-site position offers a great opportunity for a motivated healthcare revenue cycle professional to support daily operations, optimize reimbursement processes, and lead billing and collections initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of revenue cycle management, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Requirements

· Minimum of 3-5 years of healthcare revenue cycle experience

· Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience

· Strong knowledge of medical billing, coding, denials management, claims processing, and reimbursement methodologies

· Experience with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding standards

· Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and Revenue Cycle Management software

· Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel

· Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, and payer regulations

Responsibilities

· Assist in managing daily revenue cycle operations, including billing, collections, payment posting, accounts receivable, and denial management

· Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities for process improvement

· Support the Revenue Cycle Manager in developing and implementing departmental goals and strategies

· Analyze accounts receivable aging reports and oversee resolution of outstanding claims

· Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and financial departments to improve revenue capture and reimbursement

· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and payer regulations

· Train, coach, and mentor revenue cycle staff to achieve departmental objectives

· Research and resolve complex billing and reimbursement issues

· Prepare reports and present findings to leadership

· Keep management apprised of operational challenges, backlogs, and opportunities for improvement

· Perform additional duties as assigned
